How Does an Agent Submit an Offer on a HomeBay Listed Property?

By HomeBay

We make it easy for an agent to submit an offer. How To varies depending on whether the property is in California or outside of California.

Agent Offers on California Properties

If the property is in California, below is short video on what the agent does and how the seller receives the offer. (Essentially the agent clicks the blue Make Offer button on the property detail page and submits the offer, and it immediately goes to the seller for review).

NOTE THE VIDEO BELOW IS FOR CALIFORNIA PROPERTIES ONLY. IF YOUR PROPERTY IS OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA, SKIP THE VIDEO AND READ ON TO THE NEXT SECTION.

Agent Offers on Properties Outside of California

If the property is outside of California, here is what we instruct agents in the MLS section called offer instructions:

  • Email a .pdf of the offer to help@homebay.com and to the seller.
  • Within the MLS, we provide agents with the seller's email address.
  • If the agent has questions, they can reach us 7 days a week at (415) 712-0081.
